CW-5200 Water Chiller

Pasta extrusion creates a high level of pressure as the machine pushes pasta dough through small openings in the brass extruder die. This pressure creates heat which is good for pasta extrusion, however, too much heat has a negative affect on the pasta. Tube shapes such as rigatoni may not form consistenly throughout the batch resulting in a product that looks different from one another throughout your pasta production. The CW-5200 industrial water chiller is designed to cool and regulate the extruder head temperature to help maintain consistency and the proper forming of pasta as the extruder warms with use. The water chiller is pre-set with a temperature range and provides or shuts off cooling when temperatures increase or drop below the range. 

This model compliments medium to large restaurant extruders designed for water chilling such as the P6 and EM95 pasta extruders.

We recommend turning on the water chiller after 10 minutes of extrusion to avoid extending the time it takes for your machine to reach an ideal extrusion temperature. 

The water chiller tank must be filled manually. We recommend checking the water level weekly and filling as needed. Do not overfill.
